odonates part 1: dragonflies
**updated Jan 2024**
Odonates: dragonflies (big, wings out) and damselflies (small, wings up).
Dragonfly (infraorder Anisoptera) families include: darners, clubtails, emeralds, cruisers, & skimmers.
I got really into odes during the summer of 2020. Odes are now my second favorite group of animals behind birds.
