A short trip to Wrightsville gave me a chance to experiment with my new camera setup (Nikon D500 w/ a 70-300 mm f/5.6 lens) from my kayak.

On Friday, I paddled up the narrow winding marsh channels on the north side of the island and found plenty of willing subjects, and on Saturday, my wife and I paddled a loop around the south side marshes.
